Some of your responsibilities

• Develop Backend Applications: Work on creating backend applications and enhance the quality of our system architecture.
• Refine Integrations Between Applications: Improve and fine-tune the integrations to ensure seamless interaction between different applications.
• Analyze and Resolve Technical Issues: Identify, analyze, and fix technical and application-related problems.
• Deploy New Releases: Manage the deployment of new software releases to ensure smooth updates.
• Act as a key technical reference within the backend team in our Istanbul office, providing technical expertise, supporting team coordination, and ensuring alignment with best practices.

What we look for

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 year of experience delivering production-ready backend code in an Agile team environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven microservices, and message queues (e.g. Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ), ideally on a cloud-native/serverless stack.
• Proficiency: Proficient in Node.js (TypeScript) or .NET (C#, .NET Core).
• Database Knowledge: Knowledge of databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Caching Strategies: Experience with Redis and effective caching strategies.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git version control, including branching and merging strategies.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservice architectures and event-driven systems
• Hands-on project experience with GCP, AWS, or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with whitelabel system structures and chatbot technologies
• Experience working with .NET / C#
