International Women’s Day is more than a day of celebration. It is a call to action and a moment to reflect on our collective responsibility to make progress happen.

Bridging the Gap: Our Journey Toward Equal Representation
This year, in line with the UN Women’s theme of “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls,” we believe that progress demands consistent action, not just recognition of the challenges.
Globally, women still hold only 30% of managerial positions. According to the latest UN data, at the current pace, reaching gender parity in management could take nearly a century. In the technology sector, the gap is even wider: women make up just 26.7% of the tech workforce worldwide and only 22% in Europe. In Turkey, women represent less than 21.5% of the ICT workforce, and only 18.3% of board seats at BIST 50 companies are held by women.
At HubX, we see these figures not just as statistics but as a collective call to action for the entire industry. We are actively working to change this narrative, and we are proud to share that 40% of our workforce is women. We are also working to dismantle the barriers to executive growth: 30% of our leadership team positions are currently held by women.
We recognise that true equality is an ongoing journey. We are committed to sustainably increasing this representation and cultivating a structure in which women are visible at every level and have a meaningful presence in our decision-making processes.
Prioritising Well-being: Health as the Foundation of Empowerment
We firmly believe that the true empowerment of women is made possible not only through representation but also through guaranteed access to health and security. At HubX, we have taken tangible steps to prioritise the well-being of our team members. In 2025, we significantly expanded our core initiatives.
We introduced a comprehensive Critical Illness Insurance for Women, offering extensive health coverage that protects against breast, ovarian, cervical, and other gynaecological and thyroid cancers. This coverage emphasises early diagnosis and prevention by including free mammograms and specialised care.
We also actively support our team’s long-term health by providing HPV vaccine access and supplying year-round beije packages to ensure everyday comfort and care.
Beyond individual health coverage, we continuously reinforce a supportive environment through our traditional March 8 women’s gatherings and dedicated wellness events. These are spaces where women can connect, recharge, and elevate one another.

We know that education is one of the most powerful tools for empowerment and the strongest foundation for true equality. Our commitment to this cause extends far beyond the walls of our own offices.
To create a lasting societal impact, we are proud donors to the Çağdaş Yaşamı Destekleme Derneği (ÇYDD). For every single female team member at HubX, we donate to support the educational journey of young girls across Turkey. We are dedicated to building a world where every girl has the tools, opportunities, and support she needs to thrive, both personally and professionally.
